Therapy for High-Achieving Women
In-person in Birmingham, Alabama and available virtually across the states of Alabama and Tennessee
Striving doesn’t have to feel so heavy
You’ve spent much of your life learning how to achieve — to work hard, push through, and meet expectations. You’re thoughtful, capable, and driven by a deep desire to do things well. But somewhere along the way, achievement may have become intertwined with identity, leaving you unsure who you are when you’re not performing, producing, or proving.
Perfectionism, over-responsibility, and constant self-monitoring can create a life that looks successful from the outside, yet feels exhausting and disconnected on the inside. Therapy offers a space to step out of that performance loop — to explore what truly matters to you, clarify your values, and build a way of living that feels aligned rather than pressured.
Sound like you?
You hold yourself to incredibly high standards — and rarely feel like it’s enough
Rest feels uncomfortable, unproductive, or even guilt-inducing
You struggle to turn off your inner critic, even when things are going well.
You’re asking deeper questions about who you are beyond roles, titles or expectations.
It is possible to both strive for success and care for yourself along the way
My approach to working with WOMEN WHO ARE HIGH ACHIEVING
My work is centered on helping you understand who you are beyond achievement and the roles you carry. Together, we explore how perfectionism and high expectations developed. Your success is a huge part of who you are. My goal is to not to eliminate your drive, but to relate to it with greater flexibility and compassion.
I help clients shift out of constant performance mode and into a more present, intentional way of living, using their values as a guide for decisions, boundaries, and priorities rather than pressure or fear. Our work integrates practical tools to quiet the inner critic, reduce overthinking, and support meaningful change, while also making space for rest, reflection, and sustainable growth. The goal is not to do less, but to build a life where your striving feels aligned, purposeful, and supportive of your well-being rather than at odds with it.
Together, we’ll work on
